Echo Exchange is one place for the Christian records scene puts out: vinyl, CD, and cassette, and for the people who collect them.
Why it exists
The general catalogs treat Christian music as an afterthought. Discographies are incomplete, pressings are missing, and there is nowhere built for the collectors who actually care. Echo Exchange is that place: one canonical page per release, built and corrected by its members.
What you can do here
- Log your collection. Add every record you own, on any format, and choose whether each copy is public or hidden.
- Build a wantlist. Track what you are chasing. Want counts are public per release, so artists and labels can see real demand.
- Rate and discuss. Half-star ratings and a comment thread on every album.
- Make your profile yours. A Podium of your top three, a "Now Spinning" record, a chosen badge, and shareable Lists.
- Talk to people. An open forum, an activity feed of what your friends are adding, direct messages between friends.
Where it is going
The near-term goal is simple: get the community's shelves uploaded so the catalog becomes the reference nobody else has built. Later phases add artist-direct drops and a collector marketplace. None of that matters until the catalog is real, and that part is on all of us.
